The SLAyyy Field Guide
The SLAyyy Field Guide is LIVE!
What started as a class project to make a dictionary of key terms has taken off.
The SLAyyy Field Guide began as a place to gather the ideas and language that help us talk about language teaching and learning as part of a class project. The class I made the dictionary for was “Advocacy for Second Language Learning”. It is now growing into a knowledge hub with podcast episodes, key terms, tools, activities, and sources—all in one place.
My hope is that it becomes useful when you are lesson planning, writing curriculum, creating activities, or simply trying to make sense of an idea you keep hearing about. The goal is not to hand teachers a script. It is to make research and classroom-facing ideas easier to find, revisit, question, and use in ways that fit the learners in front of you.
You can explore the Field Guide here:
It will keep growing, and I hope you find something useful there as you continue to SLAyyy.
